Managing Millennial's In The Workplace

Managing Millennial's In The Workplace is designed for leaders who find they lead a very diverse group of employees including young people popularly named Millennial's.

Based on the book Millennials in the Workplace: HR Strategies for a New Generation by Neil Howe this course provides the necessary information to leverage the strengths of this generation and enables the participant to successfully lead them.

The workshop objectives are:

  • Complete the Gen IQ Test and understand how you view generations.
  • Know the key characteristics of the Millennial generation and how those characteristics impact work and relationships.
  • Understand how you are able to motivate and engage your Millennial employee.
  • Recognize and take action on personal barriers to working effectively with Millennial employees.
  • Identify and plan actions needed to engage and energize your Millennial employees.
  • Understand and plan for how you will lead all generations you work with.

Goal Oriented Time Management

Goal Oriented Time Management (GO Time) is designed for managers and presents a flexible system that allows them to make the most effective use of their time.

New managers learn to control high priority items and eliminate time wasters. Experienced managers find new methods to become more effective with their time.

The GO Time workshop is based on three critical areas: Goal Setting, Time Analysis, and Prioritizing/Decision Making.

Effective Interviewing Skills (EIS) is a two-day workshop designed to provide managers and supervisors with the knowledge, skills, and processes necessary to identify critical job requirements and candidate qualifications.

The legal aspects of the interviewing and hiring process are introduced to avoid potential bias and litigation.

EIS is beneficial for supervisors, managers, and other employees what are involved in the face-to-face interviewing process.
